Privacy policy

This page explains what personal data citerio.ai collects when you visit or request a free AI Shopping Audit, why, and how you can control it. It applies to this website only, not to the Citerio product itself.

Who is responsible

This website is run by Citerio, Prinseneiland 5M, 1013 LL Amsterdam, the Netherlands. For any question about this policy or your data, email info@citerio.ai.

The audit form

When you request a free AI Shopping Audit, we ask for your name, work email, brand and website. We use this only to plan your audit and follow up with you about it — nothing else.

Your details go to Formward, a hosted form service, which emails them straight to Citerio's founders. We plan to move this to HubSpot as Citerio grows; when we do, this paragraph will be updated to say so.

We keep audit form submissions for up to 12 months. If you become a client, we keep them for as long as our relationship lasts, under the same terms as our client agreement.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to see how visitors use this site — which pages get read, roughly how many people visit. It only runs after you accept cookies in the banner; before that, nothing is collected. If you accept, it sets:

  • _ga — tells returning visits apart, kept up to 2 years.
  • _ga_5CSJZGG5YF — keeps your session state, kept up to 2 years.

Google may process this data in the United States, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission recognises as offering an adequate level of protection.

You can change your choice at any time: use "Cookie settings" in the footer of any page to accept or decline again.

Hosting

This site is hosted on Firebase Hosting, a Google service. Like most web hosts, it keeps short-lived server logs (such as IP address and the page requested) for security purposes, for example to detect abuse. We don't use these logs for analytics or marketing.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, ask us to restrict or object to how we use it, and ask for a copy in a portable format. Email info@citerio.ai and we'll respond within a month.

If you're not satisfied with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
